Ep.38 - Day 20

This episode was surprisingly good considering we're 20 days into quarantine and the sport we talk about isn't being played. We discuss when baseball will return and what has to happen to get to that point, and then we actually talk about Chris Sale's Tommy John surgery that we forgot to do last week and the ethics of getting the surgery during the pandemic. Then we answer your questions and end up having an intellectual conversation about Helen Keller. Stay safe and healthy everyone!

Ep.36 - Mic them up

We start out talking all about the Chris Sale injury news and what the starting rotation is looking like (spoiler: it's looking nonexistent), then Joey joins the podcast while shopping at Marshalls and we talk about how the Sox haven't talked to Devers about an extension and we answer listener questions. At some point we go on a long tangent about how MLB players should be mic'd up a lot more and during the regular season, and we talk all about how great that would be for the game. Then we close it out with Jason ranting about the MLB's never ending investigation and Spring Training games being only on AM radio like its 1930. 

Ep.35 - Brock's got no Sox

Brock Holt isn't on the Sox anymore and we are upset. We talk about that stupid move to not bring Brock back, then breakdown the potential Wil Myers trade that the Red Sox are discussing with the Padres. And Spring Training has started and baseball is back! So we preview Spring Training and share our players to watch for, Joey does his Pedro Martinez AND David Ortiz impressions, and we talk more about sign stealing. The Red Sox worked out a new deal with the Dodgers and traded Mookie Betts for real this time, so we discuss the return we actually ended up getting and the impact this trade will have on the future. Alex Cora is out as Red Sox manager after it was revealed that he was behind the whole Astros sign-stealing scandal. We talk all about that and what it means for the Red Sox going forward, while also discussing new manager options. We also develop a legal way to steal signs and answer some listener questions as always. We could be entering a tough time in Red Sox history, so buckle up folks.
