Sox got swept in the crucial series against the Blue Jays and sit now 5 games back in the wild card race. We discuss the outlook for the rest of this season including if they can still make the playoffs. We also talk about the Verdugo drama, how bad the defense has been, whether Alex Cora is the right fit for this team or if Chaim Bloom. should be fired, and react to the Red Sox almost trading Justin Turner. Ep.115 - Ohtani to Boston

First half of the season is over, onto the second half! We break down the complex question of "should the Red Sox buy or sell?" after winning 8 of their last 9, three weeks out from the trade deadline. We also discuss what to do with Kiké, campaign for Duran to start every day, talk about 1st round draft pick Kyle Teel, and react to seeing Mookie and JD hanging out at the All-Star Game. More players are hurt and the Sox are still flirting with .500... we've lost our minds. Joey also says he wants to trade our star pitcher and closer for a badly struggling prospect. We dive into who should be traded at the deadline, how injuries have devastated us, debate whether Cora or Chaim or both need to be fired, rant about the bad defense, and a whole lot more. Is there anything better than warm socks? Sox are hot but are on thin ice... we're calling them lukewarm. We talk about the concerning lack of depth and injury problems, but also highlight how huge Whitlock, Bello, and Paxton have been, how important Justin Turner is for this team, and give Casas and Duran credit for their hot streaks.
